- Objective
- An organized presentation of plans to enable an inexpensive, easy-to-build proof of concept model for experimental purposes.
- Validation
- Several running devices exist and several have reported success in the objective. All that is necessary is to show that less regular current can be measured going into the charging batteries than what results when the batteries are fully charged. If there is a difference then another form of energy, radiant energy, is charging the batteries. If the several batteries can be continually rotated without dropping in over all charge, or dropping slower than the work required to spin the wheel, then either demonstrates the purpose. The purpose of this simple Bedini monopole is not to provide significant extra power, but to demonstrate the concept.
- School Girl Variant
- This "Bedini School Girl" iteration is a simplified variant of that which has been circulated (ref) on the internet since 2001.
- (1) The 4-way bridge rectifier is replaced by a single 1000-V diode.
- (2) The output is in the form of charge to a receiving battery, rather than a generator for an LED light.
- (3) There is no capacitor.
- (4) There is no armature wheel assembly.
- See: Explanation of Differences between previous "Bedini School Girl Motor" and this "Simplified" version.
- Note
- This page is a work in progress. Much of the content on these pages has been compiled by a novice, so be apprised that some funky explanations may be found. Feel free to correct where appropriate.
- Description
- The School Girl Circuit and Motor (Simplified) is allegedly the most basic rendition of a patented circuit developed by John Bedini and researched by Dr. Peter A. Lindemann, allegedly based on the technology of Nikola Tesla, with follow-up work by Edwin Gray, Moray, and others. Bedini claims to have done away with the need for a discharge gap. The circuit is run by an input battery, and charges an ouput battery, while turning a wheel, lined with magnets, that service to create a flux in the coils. It is not intended to run in solid state as some have attempted to do. There are some unusual properties exhibited.
- Rotary Operation
- The motor has to be started by an external push, after which it turns on its own from the firing of the coil electromagnet. It gradually increases in speeds until it reaches an optimum, which depends on the dimensions of the rotor, its frictions, and the resistance of the resistor, etc. The turning of the wheel creates a charge in the circuit going to the a receiving battery(s). Applying load to the wheel results in lower amperage going from the input battery because it is dependant on the rate of firing only.
- Features
- Simple design. Inexpensive. Charger device whose output is friedly to rechargeable batteries. Doesn't heat them. Gassing is minimal. Some people have claimed to have sucessfully charged non-rechargeable batteries, and restored old car batteries that could no longer take a charge on any other charger.
- Battery Conditioning
- The charging effect allegedly becomes more pronounced as the batteries become conditioned after multiple charges and discharges.
- Supercharging
- Part of "conditioning" the battery is to charge it with the circuit until it receives no more charge (voltage levels out). Batteries thus charged behave differently when being charged than other charging systems. There is no heat, very little gassing.
- Battery Care
- It is generally not recommended to discharge a battery beyond 20% of its full capacity level, nor at a rate that exceeds its factory rating. C20 rate recommended (current no higher than Ah / 20).
- CAUTION/WARNING
- Working with some batteries can be extremely dangerous, resulting in burns, fires, or explosions. Almost all batteries have a residue of caustic acid on them. Please use all due caution appropriate to the battery type you are using. There are other dangers involved as well, such as burns or fire from a soldering iron, injury from rotating wheel.
- Disclaimer
- John Bedini and Peter Lindemann were aware of this public project after it started, and occasionally have offered their input, but it was not instigated by them, nor does it reflect their close monitoring or supervision. They claim to have encourged PES to do a private experiment only.

Bedini 10-coil energizer kits now available - Tony Craddock has posted a new infomercial video about the 10-coil energizer kit being manufactured by Rick Friedrich. Their purpose is to educate about Tesla's radiant energy technology, especially pertaining to its desirable effect on batteries, to rejuvenate them and charge them with much less input electricity required.
